Steve M. McLary
Intellectual Property -- Patents

Steve McLary, residing in Las Cruces, has substantial legal and practical experience in patent matters. He is a registered patent attorney and member of the Indian and Ohio Bars. McLary received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University (BSME) and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo.

Mr. McLary has practiced extensively both as an attorney in private practice and as corporate counsel. Prior to joining Peacock Myers, P.C., he was Of Counsel to Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge & Rice, of Atlanta, Georgia, providing services primarily to high technology and development-stage companies in patent prosecution.

He served as in-house counsel of companies including Graphic Packaging Internationa, Inc., Hillenbrand Industries, Inc., Battelle Memorial Institute, Owens-Illinois, Inc. His responsibilities included intellectual property development, protection, and licensing, joint ventures, new business development, anti-trust compliance, and general contract issues.

Steve is also an inventor, holding U.S. Patent No. 3,615,327, from his time as a Project Engineer.
